UNIT 4.4 PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHANGES
Chemistry is the study of matter and interactions. Chemistry overlaps with many other sciences.
Below is the contents for this sub unit.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL CHANGES
Chemical changes typically involve the breaking and formation of chemical bonds.

Physical changes typically involve changes in intermolecular forces (changing phase).

HOWEVER (breaking the rules) a case can be made that certain cases, like the dissolution of salt in water, can be physical or chemical. You are breaking the ionic bonds and forming ion-dipole interactions between ions and solvent.
